Our plans are to leave in August 2008, and return mid-July 2009. Leaving from Port Stanley, ON on Lake Erie, we will travel through the Erie Barge Canal through New York state, eventually into Chesapeake Bay and on to the Intracoastal Waterway. From Florida, sometime around Christmas, we will cross the Gulf Stream into the Bahamas where we will spend the rest of the winter. In the spring we will follow the same route back to Port. That is the plan anyway!
